In spite of appearances, God is in control. His kingdom will endure through all of the rising and falling kingdoms of this world. In trusting our sovereign King, we have a glorious opportunity to dig our heels into the soil of a fallen, broken world for the sake of the gospel. Yet, not without a constant longing for the world to come in which everything sad will come untrue. How do we live in the tension? How do we trust God in the unraveled moments? Join us as we dive into the story of God working all things for our good and His glory.

I pray that this study would invigorate everyday life (God has fruitful work for us) and yet temper our expectations (it’s not going to be easy).

In light of the God who is sovereign over everything and who is faithfully at work in the details we are in desperate need of His wisdom to navigate these confusing and turbulent times in which we live.
