Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Acts 2:38–39
Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.
1 Corinthians 15:22 again:
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
John Calvin
It is a requirement for certainty of faith that everyone is fully convinced that he is included with those to whom God is speaking. This is the rule of a genuine faith; then I am sure that salvation is mine because this is the promise offered to me.
Ephesians 2:11–13
Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands—remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ
Ephesians 2:16
that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross
Romans 8:29-30
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
Ephesians 3:8–10
To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things, so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
